Made with a light coating of wax which makes it easy to form, braid, and knot, waxed cord is perfect to make most jewelry and art projects, and it is available in a wide variety of brilliant colors including hard-to-find colors not available elsewhere. Smaller styles of waxed cord such as 0.5mm waxed cord works well for projects like bracelets, malas and wrist malas, and anklets. It works well with beads with smaller holes in the center such as seed beads and pearls. 1mm waxed cord is our best selling style, and 1.5mm and 2mm waxed cord is also available. Lift cord can be used to replace the cord in blinds but also have a number of other, less well-known uses including camping, gardening, quilting, and for wind chimes and dreamcatchers.
