Jewelry findings include anything needed to make beads into jewelry including clasps, jump rings, crimp beads, clasps, end caps, bails, or earring hooks. Any item that isn’t a bead, gemstone, or string is a jewelry finding and will be in this section. Findings are the most important part of jewelry making because they hold the jewelry together. Available in many different metal finishes including gold tone, silver tone, rose gold, antique brass, antique silver, copper, and gun metal.
Cord and Ribbon Ends- Cord and ribbon ends are used to add metal to your project. Available in round, barrel, or ribbon shapes some ends will have teeth to help connect to the ribbon or cord but jewelry glue will add extra security.
Bails- Use bails to attach focal beads or components to a chain to make a pendant. Bails give you an easy way to attach pendants to chains.
Bead Caps- Decorate beads or cover imperfections by placing bead caps at either end of a bead.
Clasps- Clasps are used on bracelets or necklaces and they allow the ends to close. We carry clasps in a number of different styles including lobster clasps.
Jump Rings- Jump rings are connectors and can be found in both circle and oval shapes. Open jump rings can be opened with jewelry pliers and closed jump rings are soldered together in a round shape. Jump rings have many uses, including connecting the clasp to the rest of the necklace or bracelet.
Crimp Beads and covers- Crimp beads are pressed together to help hold the other beads into place, and crimp covers are placed over crimp beads.
